Dear Friend,
Our team just returned from umrah where we visited the holy Islamic sites in Medina and Mecca, and made pilgrimage to the ka’abah.
The trip was nothing short of transformative, uplifting, and heart-changing for our entire staff. We have returned feeling inspired to tackle the various challenges in Muslim American political organizing equipped with a renewed sense of zeal and purpose. |
Here are some testimonials from our staff:
“Taking care of our staff’s spiritual and emotional well-being is a priority for us at Emgage. I am so thankful for the opportunity to experience the awe and majesty of these holy places, and to walk in the footsteps of our Prophet (S), with our incredible team. We have returned with a renewed sense of purpose and lifelong bonds. I want to thank our National Board members and other supporters who made this experience possible ” - Wa’el Alzayat, CEO of Emgage
“Oftentimes the nature of our work and the high dynamism of our social surroundings make us forgetful, cynical and drained of energy. I return a man with conviction and commitment to the noble mission of justice.” - Rexhinaldo Nazarko, Emgage Michigan's Policy and Legislative Associate
"I cannot thank Emgage enough for bestowing this chance upon me and my family. It is an experience that has impacted all of us, and it will continue to resonate with my soul. The dedication I now have for my work, for my organization, has reached a level that is a first in my career. I love the institution I am a part of, because it has shown me love as a conduit for the divine." - Palwasha Sharwani, Emgage Texas' Operations Director

We at Emgage seek to do our work with ihsan (spiritual excellence). We feel that in order to make a real, sustainable difference in American politics and culture, we are fully reliant on Allah's tawfiq (divine success) and His lutf (bounty).
Please consider donating to our Umrah Fund today, so that you can be part of the reward of this effort. Please note: All donations are tax-deductible. |
We pray that the work that we do becomes a sadaqa jariyah (ongoing charity) for all of our Umrah Fund donors, through which they may reap benefits in this life and in the life to come. |
