Republican Senator Thom Tillis recently took to Twitter to ask folks to sign Eric Trump’s birthday card — trading North Carolinians’ respect in for a pat on the back from Donald Trump.

Let’s get this straight: in the midst of escalating tensions with Iran, our Senator was... planning a birthday surprise for Trump’s son?

North Carolina deserves more than someone so deep in the pocket of Trump’s network that he manages to fail us at every turn. Cal Cunningham is running for U.S Senate to get rid of the political corruption plaguing Washington that Tillis is a poster boy for.

If we want to elect a leader who cannot be bought, and who won’t pander to the president when he should be held accountable, then we’re going to have to send Tillis packing this November.
