WARM WELCOME
We are so moved by friends of Identity who donated warm clothes, personal hygiene items and home supplies this season to newcomers arriving in Montgomery County. These essential items were donated through Thanksgiving and holiday drives organized by the Jewish Community Relations Council, Loudoun Interfaith Clergy and Loudoun Interfaith Bridges.
Pictured left, just a few of the donations heading for distribution.

iD Tech Staff Donate Coats
Many newcomers arrive without proper clothing to protect them from a harsh winter. The employees of iD Tech sent new warm coats from Operation Warm and wrote individual notes of encouragement. iD Tech is a social-impact company dedicated to closing the digital divide in STEM education. Operation Warm is a national non-profit which manufactures and distributes coats and shoes to people in need across the country.

105 TURKEYS
We are so thankful to NBC4/Telemundo Food 4 Families, and the Jewish Community Relations Council for donating turkeys to make holiday meals possible for Identity families.
This truly lightened the load for our families who otherwise might not have been able to afford a tasty and bountiful meal during the holidays.

SHARING SNACKS
There is nothing sweeter than kids sharing with kids, and this holiday season
students at Pyle Middle School gathered and packed 1,000 bags of snacks, decorating the bags with encouraging notes for fellow middle-schoolers. And youth and families at B'nai Israel Congregation decorated and packed 100 bags of snacks, which our elementary schoolers will enjoy in the new year. Thank you to all the kids helping kids!

Caring Friends
Thanks to Neighbors Rising, MSG Cares and LEGO REPLAY for making the holidays so festive. Our YOC clients and their families (see photo left opening the piñata) were once again treated to a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner by Neighbors Rising, a group of neighbors who have been welcoming and assisting Identity youth for six years. MSG Cares is Manhattan Strategy Group's employee-led initiative that supports nonprofit programs that are making strides in the areas MSG works – homelessness, education, workforce development, food and nutrition, and the environment. And two sisters plus their high school friends recycled donated Lego parts into new kits for the young people in our after-school programs. Read More about Lego Replay.
