For the first time in over 100 years, the House adjourned without a speaker, as Kevin McCarthy struggled to gain the support of his party after six rounds of voting. Meanwhile, House Democrats maintained a strong, united stance, backing Hakeem Jeffries and nominating the first Black lawmaker to lead a party in Congress’ history.

Republicans are going rogue, team, but Democrats are standing together in our mission to protect the progress made over the last two years.
