John, I want to say thank you. We set an ambitious end-of-year fundraising goal, and this community showed up with truly inspiring generosity. That extraordinary response is a powerful statement of support for gender justice—and will fuel our critical work in 2023 and beyond.
We know the work ahead won’t be easy. In the coming months, affirmative action, LGBTQ+ rights, and discrimination protections will potentially be on the chopping block at the Supreme Court. States are expected to ramp up their attacks on abortion access and transgender children. And that’s on top of the fights for fair wages, affordable health care, and other basic protections that extreme politicians continue to undermine.
But the beginning of a new year always brings a special kind of hope, a feeling that we are starting fresh and recharged, ready to dig in and get to work. That relentless optimism in the possibility of a better world, and the determination to make it a reality, are bedrock values of the National Women’s Law Center.
So we know whatever comes in the months ahead, we’ll be ready—thanks to supporters like you.
Together, we are making a brighter, fairer future a reality, one fight at a time. Thank you for being a partner in this work.
Sincerely,
Jodi Michael

P.S. If you didn’t have a chance to make a year-end gift, you can still be a part of the fight for gender justice by making a gift of any amount right now. [[link removed]]
