[ stdin# ]Women's March
Have you ever heard the phrase “women’s work,”
John?
It’s been used historically to describe (and diminish) the unpaid labor
that women take on in the home: childrearing, cleaning, cooking, etc.
Obviously, that’s sexist AF, and women shouldn’t be bearing the brunt of
running households and keeping society functioning.
And in 2023, we know that “women’s work” encompasses so much more than
traditional household duties. Here at Women’s March, our “women’s work”
includes the critical fight to protect our freedoms, support our families,
and create a feminist future for all.
Last summer, women across the nation raised hell at the fall of Roe.
That’s “women’s work.”
Last fall, women voted in record numbers and won the midterms.
That’s “women’s work,” too.
Now, our work continues.
On the 22nd, the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we march to demand our
rights and demonstrate our power. And we NEED you with us.
