This has to stop:
Ten years ago, the Supreme Court’s decision in Citizens United unleashed a flood of dark money on our elections. It allowed corporations to funnel massive profits into elections in support of politicians who would ensure nothing got in the way of increasing those profits.
Corporate donors bought themselves the 2017 Trump tax cuts, and they’re investing those savings in four more years of Trump. The Washington Post reported that Trump and the RNC raised almost half a billion dollars in 2019. They’ll protect Citizens United at all costs, so it’s going to take an incredible grassroots movement to undo this decision.
