I just left the House floor, where today, the Republican majority failed once again to choose a leader. This means we can’t officially start the business of the 118th Congress or even be sworn into office.
I am not in Congress to tell my colleagues how to do their jobs. But when it impacts my ability to get things done for the people of Kansas, I have to speak up.
The Republican infighting has to stop. And we have to get to work so that important legislation, like a bipartisan Farm Bill to support Kansas producers, can be negotiated and moved forward as soon as possible.
