I mean, you couldn’t write that if you tried. He’s a total original. And that’s honestly what I think we need right now. Because this isn’t a TV show or a movie. It’s our reality. And the reality is that our country is in crisis.

We need a leader who knows how to bring people together -- because there’s something so uniquely unifying about Pete. He reminds us that we can’t turn our backs on people who maybe voted on the other side of the aisle. And he knows how to unite us around shared values.
