We hope that 2023 is starting out in a way that brings you hope.
Alliance for a Green Economy has high hopes that, with your help, we will win crucial climate legislation necessary to Kick Fossil Fuels Out of Buildings and reach New York’s carbon emission reduction mandates!
Please join the us for a grassroots planning meeting ([link removed]) via Zoom on Thursday, January 12 from 7PM to 8PM. Together with the Renewable Heat Now campaign and other allies, we have laid the groundwork for a Rally & Lobby Day to Kick Fossil Fuels Out of Buildings, and we can't wait to continue planning it with you!
Together, we will:
* celebrate the strong building sector provisions in New York’s Climate Action Plan ([link removed]) ,
* learn more about the Renewable Heat Now bill package for this legislative session,
* hear from several bill sponsors,
* gather your input about increasing our people power, and
* learn about the exciting plans being crafted for a dynamic and impactful Kick Fossil Fuels Out of Buildings Lobby Day ([link removed]) on Tuesday, January 24 in Albany (and on Zoom for folks unable to travel).
Sign up today for the Rally & Lobby Day ([link removed]) on January 24. Our logistics team needs a clear idea of how many people will be attending and from where people plan to travel so that we can arrange transportation and set up lobby teams effectively.
Can’t join us in Albany? Not to worry. Join a virtual lobby visit ([link removed]) to make your voice heard!
The January 24 lobby day is a great way to get a climate-concerned friend involved in the work. Offer them a ride, and let them know how much you’ll enjoy spending the day together. There will be an experienced leader for each lobby team, so it’s a low-stress way for a new person to join the movement to Kick Fossil Fuels Out of Buildings!
