Happy New Year, John! Together, we made 2022 an amazing year for climate action. You and your 3 million fellow EDF members and activists helped:

  • Secure the most ambitious federal climate legislation in U.S. history, The Inflation Reduction Act, which allocates $369 billion to protect our climate and reduce pollution by investing in clean energy and electric vehicles.
  • Champion the EPA’s new clean car standards that will prevent over 3 billion tons of tailpipe pollution by 2050.
  • Elevate the voices of grassroots activists across the country by submitting over 15,000 public comments to the Biden Administration to advance stronger methane rules that will slash climate pollution and protect the health of millions of people.
  • Make our 2022 Year-End campaign a success with more than 15,000 donors coming together to support powerful climate action. Thanks to members like you, we surpassed our goal, raising more than $2.7 million. And every gift was matched at least $2 for every $1 donated, making their collective impact more than $8 million!

We hope you will stand with us this year to ensure 2023 is another year of bold climate action as we work to:

  • Stabilize our climate by slashing U.S. climate pollution in half by 2030 and achieving a net zero emissions economy by 2050;
  • Strengthen the ability of people and nature to thrive by adapting and building resilience as the climate changes; and
  • Protect our health and ensure the air we breathe, water we drink and food we eat are as safe as possible.

We have the power to put a safer climate future within reach thanks to the support of passionate, dedicated and generous people like you.

Thank you for your commitment and support,

P.S. NEW YEAR, FRESH LOOK. You may notice our revised new logo. It continues to honor the four symbolic waves of air, trees, land and water — core areas where you make an impact. The new simpler design and bolder, brighter colors make an impactful impression on mobile phones and computer screens.
