Dear Neighbor, I hope you are well! I wanted to take this opportunity to update you on several happenings in the district as well as Harrisburg.

Swearing-in Day 

On Tuesday, Jan. 3, I was once again sworn in as State Representative of the 150th Legislative District alongside my colleagues in the House, my family, and friends. While it was a long day, the House successfully elected Rep. Mark Rozzi of Berks County, as the new Speaker of the House.

I once again send congratulations to all of the House members as well as Speaker Rozzi. I am proud to have served with Rep. Rozzi in the Democratic Caucus and I'm looking forward to once again, working for the betterment of Pennsylvanians and our communities.

Pennie Open Enrollment

Pennie, Pennsylvania's health care marketplace which provides high-quality coverage, is still in open enrollment. Both health and dental plans are available. If you need health insurance and you wish to apply through Pennie, you must apply before the open enrollment period ends on Jan. 15.

You can find more information about Pennie's open enrollment and how easy it is to apply at pennie.com or by calling 1-844-844-8040.

LIHEAP

Do you need assistance paying for your heating bills this winter season? LIHEAP, the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 season and can help low-income families with heating in the form of a cash grant and does not need to be repaid.

If your household is experiencing a heating crisis, you may be eligible for additional benefits through the LIHEAP Crisis Program.
