16th Annual Leap into Leadership Conference
This is a bi-partisan annual event to engage more women in the Wyoming Legislative process. If you are looking to learn about politics beyond Teton County, this is a great event to attend.
Guests will hear from former Wyoming Legislators, Jayne Mockler, Elaine Harvey, Bernadine Craft and former US Representative Barabara Cubin. Workshops will resume on Thursday, Feb. 23 in the Capitol Complex where topics will cover campaign planning, finance, and strategies for communicating with the press.
The conference will conclude with attendees having the opportunity to visit the Wyoming House and Senate to observe Wyoming legislators at work.
The Wyoming Democratic Party is the People's Party
While we won the county, we lost some key seats in other counties and at the state level. This year, we will continue to build on our success, and will turn our focus to help our members in the rest of the state. Some might be disheartened, however the below link is a great article by Kerry Drake outlining how the Wyoming Democratic Party is the modern party of the people and the reasons to hope there is a bright future for Wyoming.
