Hello John,

As we start the new year and the first days of the 118th Congress, I'm grateful for so much.

In 2022, I worked alongside my colleagues in the Senate and the Biden administration to deliver solutions for the American people, and our work paid off. We signed historic legislation to safeguard marriage equality. We enacted revolutionary action to fight climate change. We honored our sacred duty to our veterans by passing the PACT Act, took action to reduce inflation, and so much more.

Throughout the year, your continued support allowed us to keep up the fight for the Senate majority. Thanks to you, we did what many thought was impossible: We held our Senate majority in the midterm elections and had one of the best midterm cycles a president’s party has seen in generations.

I look forward to the work ahead, and the progress that's in our future. Even though the House is now under Republican leadership, I am confident we will once again beat the odds and move mountains. That means getting to work now. There’s not a moment to lose.

Thank you for everything, John. Your support is my strength. As we start 2023, I am more ready than ever to keep the momentum going and work together to make our country work for all of us.
