Outside of the NCAA and high-school sports world, biological males continue to rob professional and amateur female athletes of their titles in the name of ‘inclusion.’ Female athletes such as cyclists, boxers, and skateboarders are also fighting to protect their arenas ([link removed]) from male dominance and interference.

Presiding bodies overseeing these sports are beginning to impose policies that deny women a fair playing field. There is no equity, fairness, sportsmanship, or opportunity for women to succeed at an elite level without sex-based categories.

Next week, the NCAA holds its annual convention and we will hand-deliver a petition signed by thousands of people across the country that demands the NCAA stop discriminating against women and establish rules to keep women’s sports female. Add your name to the growing list to stand up for fair competition, privacy, and safety in our sports.

The White House positions a tight jobs market as evidence that the economy is strong. Americans should be jubilant, the White House suggests. Instead, they are deeply pessimistic about the state of the economy because inflation has worn them down. Many Americans view opportunity and mobility as out of reach, which could have devastating long-term consequences for our labor market and widespread economic prosperity. Learn More ([link removed])

** IRS Delays Form 1099-K Tax Reporting Nightmare ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
A new IRS Form 1099-K tax reporting requirement for millions of tax filers was set to go into effect on New Year’s Day. Before leaving for Christmas recess, Congress failed to raise the threshold of those who would have to report income made by selling items online or engaging in gig-economy activities. However, in a last-minute change, the IRS announced that it would unilaterally delay the implementation of the regulation for one year.

Congress now has more time to fix this issue. Let’s hope they don’t squander the opportunity. Learn More ([link removed])

** Stop The Lopsided Midwest Gender Identity Summit ([link removed])
------------------------------------------------------------
On January 13, Sanford Research Center will host the 3rd annual Midwest Gender Identity Summit in partnership with Transformation Project SD, an activist organization that promotes transitioning children under the age of 18.

Those organizing this conference are pushing that vulnerable, but otherwise healthy, children can properly consent to experimental, life-altering, and irreversible treatments associated with transitioning while withholding key research documenting the harms associated with medical transitioning.

Sanford should include speakers who will provide balance to this topic of gender dysphoria. Take action today and demand that all views are represented and the harms associated with medical transitioning — particularly for minors — are addressed.

2022 was a year of long-overdue school board accountability. Boards could no longer use COVID as an excuse to slam the schoolhouse door in parents’ faces, and shocking videos laid bare the obscene content that schools were placing in the hands of America’s children. A round of scandalously low test scores turned up the heat on groups that, for too long, had been content to operate quietly.
