MADISON ??Gov. Tony Evers today signed Executive Order #182 recreating 28 non-statutory committees working to conduct studies and advise the governor on various issues of statewide interest and importance, including the Governor?s Advisory Council on Equity and Inclusion, the Governor?s Task Force on Broadband Access, the PFAS Coordinating Council, and the Governor?s Council on Financial Literacy and Capability, among several others.
?We?ve spent the last four years working on some critically important issues facing the people of our state, and these councils and committees have played a vital role in this important work,? said Gov. Evers. ?Whether it?s been supporting individuals with disabilities and caregivers or?expanding access to high-speed internet, ensuring folks have clean water, helping people save for retirement, building a welcoming, inclusive state, we?ve accomplished so much together, but we still have much work ahead of us. I look forward to continuing to build the sort of future we want for our state.?
