2 PM ? Quality Assurances & Regulations (QAR). The QAR team help people navigate a variety of important parts of Maine?s food system. Get to know the people helping businesses navigate the paths to ensure Maine foods and farm products are available and accessible year-round.?

9 AM ? People to know in a farm emergency, and when planning farm events. Come chat with staff from UMaine, DACF and other state agencies, as well as farmer groups, to share resources, and ideas, for safe event planning, emergency responses on farms, and livestock care in emergencies.

12 PM ? Maine IF& W Staff. Landownership and habitat Game Warden Corporal Kris MacCabe works to preserve Maine?s unique history of public access to private land by promoting responsible land use to the public through the Outdoor Partners Program, educating landowners about their rights, liabilities, and options; forming partnerships, and supporting landowners. Private Lands Wildlife Biologist Joe Roy provides technical assistance to landowners, foresters, and other service providers managing land for at-risk fish and wildlife through the Beginning with Habitat Program.

2 PM ? Real Maine. Come chat with Real Maine staff about the ways Real Maine promotes Maine farms, and farm products, year round! Get a list of important promotional deadlines, and share ideas for supporting agricultural awareness.

9 AM ? PFAS Fund. Come chat with Beth Valentine and share your ideas about priorities for the Fund to Address PFAS Contamination. Beth works at the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry as director of the PFAS Fund.

The 82nd Maine Agricultural Trades Show is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, January 10, 11, and 12, 2023 at the Augusta Civic Center. Open daily at 9 AM. There is no admission fee.?
