John,
We’re thrilled to announce Sister District’s 2023 State Bridges partners!
In 2022, our mighty network of supporters and volunteers raised over $200,000 for our State Bridges partners. In an existentially important midterm year, these funds allowed them to hire more organizers, expand field programs, and target more priority districts — all of which contributed to incredible state legislative wins. In 2023, we are excited to build on this momentum by continuing to support our partners in their quest to build lasting progressive state power.
In a minute, we’ll share why supporting local power-building organizations is so important. But if you’re ready to build bridges for state power, chip in to support our partners in Virginia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Arizona now!

While we saw great statehouse wins in 2022, the work isn’t over — and our State Bridges partners are on the ground, year after year, doing the hard work of organizing in their communities to help folks understand how voting and building progressive political power will improve everyone’s lives.
2023 and 2024 will be pivotal years in the fight for abortion access, free and fair elections, and so much more. We’ve got to invest early and generously in local groups — often led by people of color, and centering the voices of those most impacted by state policies. This work lays the groundwork for inspiring progressive candidates to win on Election Day and build state power in the long term.
That’s why over the next three months, Sister District will be holding virtual fundraising events to raise visibility and funds for our partner organizations. Join us to learn about what’s happening on the ground in critical swing states, and the plans that are already forming for how to protect and expand our freedoms in 2023, 2024 and beyond.
