I talked to Bloomberg about fighting back against the extreme MAGA GOP and holding the line for working people.
John, folks might think the Democrats can’t get things done in a Republican House, but I’m here to prove them wrong. Because here’s a fact about me: I love being underestimated. I’m used to people underestimating me.
I came to Congress with a plan to strengthen our bold Progressive Caucus, and with your help, we’ve accomplished that. And with your continued support, we still have a lot more we can do.
We are at a really critical moment in this country — and unfortunately, Republicans are in chaos.
But thankfully, Democrats are united, and we are standing ready to defend working people and give people opportunity.
I can promise you that we will put forward a progressive agenda with policies that benefit YOU, like protecting Social Security and Medicare, passing the PRO Act, instituting a $15 minimum wage, and more.
And I can promise you the Progressive Caucus will be on the front of taking on Republicans around their anti-immigrant, xenophobic, anti-constitutional, anti-democracy initiatives.
