News and Updates   🎉 Happy New Year! Thank you for supporting WILL and our efforts in the New Year! As a non-profit and non-partisan organization, WILL was launched to litigate: we take the fight for freedom to the courts, and to retake ground that had long been ceded to activists who used the courts to erode the freedom and prosperity of all Americans. We defend small business owners, teachers, parents, and others from a wide variety of backgrounds against the government and well-financed interests from Washington, D.C. and Madison. In addition, WILL's policy team provides timely and comprehensive research on proposed policies and bills and their impact on our nation's citizens. WILL's policy work is critical to help advance good public policies and defend against the harmful policies at the local, state, and federal levels. America needs WILL and we need you. Please join the WILL team by making a donation to defend freedom. The work we do would not be possible without the generosity of our donors. WILL does not accept government funds or contributions that could influence the litigation we choose to pursue or the outcomes of our research. WILL is a tax-exempt, nonprofit public charity under Section 501(c)(3)of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations, bequests and gifts to WILL are tax deductible. Support Liberty NEW | WILL Report Explains the National Danger Posed by TikTok WILL issued a new policy report, The Mysterious TikTok-ing Noise. The report recaps the meteoric rise of the China-based social media app “TikTok,” and recounts the invasive ways that the software records data from its users. The report strongly recommends that Wisconsin take heed of federal warnings and follow some other states’ practices in prohibiting the app from government-owned devices. 🗯 WILL Senior Research Analyst, Noah Diekemper, said, "TikTok poses a substantial security risk to state and local governments. Our state government owes it to Wisconsinites to keep public operations safe from technological vulnerability at the hands of authoritarian adversaries.” 📰 Check out Representative Mike Gallagher's press release on our report!
