Today is a big day: Democrats officially expanded our majority in the Senate
with the swearing in of every single incumbent who was up for re-election last
year and Senator John Fetterman!

I'm also honored to be sworn in for my fifth term in the Senate and remain your

reflects the incredible diversity of our country and that they'll bring

I'll be honest: not a lot of people thought a Democratic Senate Majority would
be sworn in today. The pundits thought in a midterm election, Republicans were
sure to win.

But Democrats prevailed. And we prevailed because we delivered for the American people. The Inflation Reduction Act. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Marriage equality. Gun safety legislation. The CHIPS and Science Act. COVID relief. A record number of federal judges confirmed -- including Supreme
Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Our Democratic Majority was one of the most productive in history. And now with
our expanded Senate Majority, we're not slowing down.

There is so much crucial work to come, and I can't wait to share it with all of
you. But it's not going to be easy. The MAGA Republicans will try to stand in
