Negative, misleading, and false. With the House majority on the line, special interest groups spent millions of dollars in 2018 on negative ads attempting to trash Dean and mislead voters about our campaign.
Those attacks have already begun in 2020. One of Dean's opponents, a Trump supporter with the backing of the NRCC -- the GOP group that ran the worst of the negative, false ads last cycle -- is already up with negative ads about Dean.
I believe in Dean. He's working every single day in D.C. to take principled votes to change what's wrong with our system -- fully knowing that his votes are making him a top target in 2020.
