Taxpayers 2023 annual survey.

Hello John

I have a confession to make to you: I’m pretty nervous when I testify at a parliamentary committee.

The team preps me really well so hopefully my nervousness doesn’t show too much. But it’s there in the pit of my stomach. I guess it makes sense. I’m there to tell politicians that they need to do a better job. And I’m there to tell them to stop wasting so much money and to cut taxes. They don’t like that very much.

But you know what really helps me? You.

When I sit down at the committee table, I just remember that I’m speaking for you and thousands of other Canadians. I’m the one talking, but the message comes from all our supporters who want lower taxes, less waste and more accountable government.

Here’s the thing: if I’m speaking for you, I need to know what you want me to say.

The Annual Survey is the very best way for you to tell me what message you want me to deliver to politicians in Ottawa. Clicking through questions on a survey may seem like a small thing to you, but it means the world to me when I’m going toe-to-toe with hostile politicians in a parliamentary committee.
