Today marks the start of our new session in the U.S. Senate. As we enter 2023, we turn a new leaf and set a new agenda focused on bettering the lives of people across our country.

For the next two years, I’m going to be working with my colleagues to pass legislation to expand reproductive healthcare access, lower costs for working families, and curb rising gun violence across the country.

I’ll be laser-focused on addressing Wisconsinites’ most pressing needs, including protecting voting rights and taking action to protect our climate (the top issues in our latest priorities survey!).

I’ll also be preparing for 2024, when my Senate seat will be on the ballot. Because of our hard work last year, Democrats were able to hold the majority in the Senate — and I’m hopeful that next election, we will do the same.

The new session beginning today marks the start of a new chapter, and as we set out on a new year, I’m reaching out today to ask:
