We’ve reached the “summer slump” when it comes to fundraising.
During these summer months, people stop paying attention to politics because they’re on vacation or out by the pool with friends and family (as they should be!) but that means our fundraising is taking a pretty big dip and we need to work twice as hard to play catch-up.
I know a lot of us are facing immeasurable challenges right now. Trump’s harmful agenda has threatened so many families across this country. And Republicans just give him a free-pass for all of his right-wing policies, attacks on our fundamental rights, and erosion of democracy without a care in the world who gets hurt.
That’s why it’s so important we kick as many Republicans out of office as we can come 2020. I’m committed to electing Democrats up and down the ballot and fighting for the issues everyday Americans care about, but I need your help:
Every dollar you give toward our July goal is a dollar I don't have to raise making phone calls or attending events. That means I can spend my time fighting back against the GOP’s policies and Trump’s hateful rhetoric. And with Republicans threatening to strike down the Affordable Care Act, I’m going to need all the help I can get.
