If you missed it over the holidays, far-right Arizona Congressman Andy Biggs announced he’s running for Speaker of the U.S. House as Congress reconvenes.
Whether Biggs is successful in becoming speaker, or just denying the gavel to Kevin McCarthy, it shows MAGA extremists in Congress want more power now that Republicans hold a slim majority.
We knew control of Congress could come down to Arizona, which means if we’re going to win it back, we need to start holding the far-right extremists in the AZ GOP’s congressional delegation accountable.
Team, with a narrow majority, winning more seats here in Arizona will be the difference between who holds the House in 2024. We have to start letting voters know right now just how extreme Biggs, Paul Gosar, Eli Crane and the rest of the AZ GOP delegation is. Will you donate $5 right now to help us do just that?

It’s clear by Biggs’ candidacy for speaker that the far right is going to be calling the shots in the House during the current cycle.
That means people like Biggs, Gosar, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Jim Jordan will be in control of what bills pass, and what committees focus on. It also means the House won’t focus for one second on what Arizonans and Americans actually need.
We have to hold them accountable from today all the way to November 2024.
