My friends, this is amazing!

I want to start this new year by saying thank you for being a part of the Special Olympics community — and helping us raise the funds to keep our programs strong in 2023 and beyond! I am so moved by this remarkable community and your incredible capacity to show up again, and again, and again.

During the final crucial moments of 2022, this entire community stepped up in a big way and committed to creating a world full of love and inclusion that accepts and welcomes every single person, regardless of their ability. 

In 2022, your presence in this community helped Special Olympics reach over 5 million athletes in over 200 countries and jurisdictions so that they can gain confidence and become stronger, healthier, and more joyful. Once again, THANK YOU!

In 2023, Special Olympics will continue to expand The Revolution is Inclusion until every single person with an intellectual disability (ID) gets to experience the joy of being a part of a team and a community as incredible as this one.

You have decided to show up and fight for a world with more joy, love, and acceptance for all of us. You are the heart of this movement for inclusion,  and I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together next.
