Last week, a Republican representative in Congress accused Democrats of being “in love with terrorists.” He said we mourn Iranian General Soleimani’s death more than we mourn for Gold Star families.

I left parts of my body in Iraq where I was fighting terrorists. I don’t need to justify myself to anyone.

Especially not Donald Trump, who got out of serving his country five times during the Vietnam War and who spent months attacking a Gold Star family.
