YOUR YEAR-END SUPPORT HAS MEANT SO MUCH
A refugee is someone who survived and who can create the future.
– Amela Koluder, a former refugee from Bosnia-Herzegovina
Elson (11, Right) from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Recica (12, Left) from Bhutan connecting over a game.
Thank you for what you have accomplished for people from around the world through your support of the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI)! Phenomenal courage, strength, and resiliency are necessary for people to risk their lives to escape appalling circumstances and persevere in dangerous journeys to a place where hope and new life are possible. You create windows for critical turning points in human lives through your support of USCRI. We are grateful for your partnership.
Refugees are not only survivors but given the opportunity for a dignified life and a hope-filled future, they bring the life skills and motivation needed to create new futures for themselves and their families, enriching our communities as they do so.

You are, in fact, co-creators with them and USCRI as they build transformed lives and circumstances. Your gifts provide the raw material people need to create new possibilities – resettlement and placement, employment services, case management, interventions for human trafficking victims, health and children’s services, and access to scarce legal services, to name a few.
Ukrainian couple, Volodymyr and Oleksandra, are proud to be a part of their new community in New York.
Thanks to you and fellow supporters, we have raised thousands since Thanksgiving to assist our clients – your new neighbors.

Never underestimate the impact of even your smallest gift. Your partnership with USCRI multiplies your gifts through the services USCRI provides to people bringing their talents and hopes to our shores. Your donations make their new lives and hope for healing possible.
A new year provides, among many other benefits, a chance to start fresh. You offer the gift of fresh starts through your support of USCRI. Thank you for your heart for opening doors for the many we serve.

I look forward to keeping you informed through out 2023 about how so many people are thriving – because of you.

With gratitude,

Eskinder Negash
