As we say farewell to 2022, ALIGN is celebrating the year’s wave of worker organizing and our many victories for New York. When we fight, we win! 

Take a look at our year in review: 

In just one year we:

1. Won $4 billion to electrify NYC public schools and create green career jobs
2. Utility Thermal Energy Network and Jobs Act signed into law for green jobs and clean air
3. Won legislation to protect warehouse workers from harmful productivity quotas
4. Secured protections for workers to create healthy workplaces with an amendment to the NY HERO Act
5. Garnered 400+ public comments supporting a just transition for workers in NY’s landmark climate law, the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act
6. Launched new campaigns to raise New York’s minimum wage and to pass a climate jobs and justice package. 

THANK YOU for supporting our movement and helping us achieve so much. We take pride in our unique ability to straddle priorities that can sometimes compete and conflict, because it is this tension that leads to transformation. 

In 2023, we’re fighting to raise New York’s minimum wage, build more warehouse worker protections, and fund New York’s climate law while creating green, career jobs.
