There are two permanent positions available to work as a Service Advisor within the Whole Life Disability Teams, based at Bulwell Riverside or Clifton Cornerstone.

The starting salary is ?21,589 (Level One) rising to ?22,911 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

Whole Life Disability

The Whole Life Disability Service supports citizens with physical and learning disabilities from childhood right through to adulthood to ensure a smooth transition between services. The team works closely with Health colleagues to commission and support citizens in a range of services including community support, residential and hospital settings.

?

Service Advisors act as the initial point of contact for citizens and professionals referring into the Whole Life Disability Service. They provide advice, triage and co-ordinate information to enable decision making and risk management on behalf of citizens requesting / requiring access to social care and health services, and help to navigate young people, families and citizens through to the right services based on an assessment of their needs.


They are also responsible for a broad range of team functions such as ensuring accurate recording on case systems, signposting citizens and professionals to partner services, escalating high risk cases and referrals, financial monitoring and high level administrative support.

Essential Requirements

  1. Understanding of social care services, the variety of services available and their referral criteria;
  2. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of customers, including vulnerable citizens and their carers and families, in a helpful and professional manner, demonstrating excellent communication and listening skills and being sensitive to their needs;
  3. Ability to identify and analyse information and situations to identify risk and take appropriate action;
  4. Awareness of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other legislation, ensuring confidentiality of information.

As a Catering Supervisor you will be responsible for the the day to day running of the school kitchen and will provide general supervision of the preparation, cooking and serving of school meals.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:?
  • Experience in preparing and cooking for large groups and effectively managing a kitchen team
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety law, Health and Safety regulations and their application in the kitchen
  • Ability to plan and organise menus, order supplies and maintain appropriate stock?levels
