I never thought I'd be here, writing an email about funding gun violence prevention. No survivor, like the ones who lead at Brady, would ever have guessed that gun violence would affect them and their family for so much of their lives. But no one is safe from gun violence – and it pains me to describe our country like that.

I know exactly how much the Brady team means it when they say we need your help — and I'm counting on you just as much as they are.
