John --
As we say good-bye to 2022 we are grateful for the hard work that
our 2022 leadership board, candidates, conservatives, and grass roots
groups contributed towards the RED WAVE that we experienced in Kenosha
County. While state-wide we did not fair as well as we would have
liked, I am proud how our County pulled out red across almost all of
the races that were held. We had pivotal wins for Kenosha County seats
with
- Samantha Kerkman becoming the first conservative woman to win the
County Executive race
- A new conservative majority on the County Board
- Bryan Steil maintaining his position as Congressional District 1
Representative
- David Zoerner pulling out a win as our next Kenosha County
Sheriff
- Nass and Wanggaard each won their respective State Senate
Districts, and
- Tyler August and Amanda Nedweski winning in their respective
Districts within the assembly race
We had boots on the ground knocking doors, dropping literature,
attending meet and greets and rallies, and getting the word out about
our many wonderful conservative candidates. It is through the hard
work in the community that we are able to elect conservatives who hold
true to our core values.
Looking ahead to Spring 2023 elections, we ask that each of you
continue your hard work. We have some critical races ahead of
us.
- The partisan swing of the Wisconsin Supreme Court is up for grabs
in April.
- Our children’s futures are on the ballot with school board
elections in April.
We must show out strong; on the ground leading up to election day
and at the polls. We need you ALL to get involved in the fight and
invite everyone you know to join us.
In 2023, your RPKC Board will focus on creating, tracking, and
reporting to members our goals surrounding the party mission to:
- Unify all Republican Party political activity performed at the
local or county level;
- Cooperate and assist in all county, state, and national elections
conducted in Kenosha County;
- Advance the ideals of limited government, free enterprise, and a
strong, secure national defense;
- Preserve the republican form of government as created under the
Constitution of the United States of America
I feel confident going into 2023. I am prepared to work hard for
RPKC, our members, our elected officials, and candidates.
Happy New Year!
