Ringing in the New Year with gratitude
Happy New Year! As we welcome 2023, I want you to know how deeply I appreciate you.
We ended the year with a big ask for this community: to help triple our chances of raising critical funds to fuel our fight against animal abuse. And supporters like you came through in a big way.
We successfully unlocked $500,000 in matching funds---and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible compassion and generosity of changemakers like you.
The funds raised in this matching challenge will fuel our fight to protect baby animals from harm, free chickens from tiny cages, and end some of the worst forms of suffering for animals on factory farms.
Through your advocacy, and your empathy, changemakers like you are making a big difference.Just recently, three of the biggest foodservice providers in the US—Sodexo, Compass Group, and Delaware North—finally published concrete plans to spare animals from horrific abuse. Incredible shifts like this paint a clear picture that change is not just possible—it’s happening. Right before our eyes.
Someday we’ll look back on this time and marvel at how much of a difference we were able to make together. Thank you. I can’t wait to see what we’ll do together in 2023!
