For far too long, Alaskans have had leaders who don’t listen to us. Instead, they listen and do the bidding of big donors and corporations. But Alyse is different.

She truly cares about Alaskan families and what they have to say. She doesn’t just listen, she understands because she’s experienced many of the same struggles we have. She knows what it’s like to have a loved one suffering from addiction or to stay awake at night worried that a medical emergency could mean bankruptcy.

Alyse is making her way across the state by car, plane, and boat because she knows she needs to hear stories from Alaskans in order to serve. But she can’t talk to everyone.
