Happy New Year, team!
Thanks to the generosity of dedicated supporters like you, we were able to hit our $5,000 End-of-Year goal and head into the new year stronger than ever.
Your support sets us up to make 2023 another busy year for our team at the Fairness Project. But before we dive into what campaigns and issues we’ll be tackling in the year ahead, we wanted to hit pause on the asks for grassroots donations and just take some time to celebrate the important victories supporters like you have helped to make possible since 2016.
Many of the minimum wage ballot measure campaigns we’ve won included annual adjustments to wages based on economic factors like cost of living and inflation. And thanks to your help, the lives of working families in eight states will be better this year because of the support you gave us.
Here’s what you have helped us to achieve:

It’s an impressive list, friend — but our work doesn’t stop here. Millions of hardworking American families still struggle to make ends meet as we begin a new year.
This past year, Nebraska — one of the most historically conservative states — helped us prove that no state is “too red” to enact a $15 minimum wage.
The federal minimum wage hasn’t gone up since 2009. And until it does, we’ll keep fighting for livable wages for all of America’s workforce. So, team, we’re here to ask: Will you stand with us as we continue our work to raise wages in 2023? Add your name to tell Congress it's long past time for a raise in the federal minimum wage. >> [[link removed]]

Thanks, team — we couldn’t do this work without you.
