After all, change is needed–desperately. According to the IUCN Red List, 42,100 species are threatened with extinction. Climate change is rapidly becoming the biggest threat to wildlife. And eco-anxiety is surging, becoming a full-blown mental health crisis.

According to recent research commissioned by WildAid:
* 75% of Gen Z have experienced a mental health issue due to climate change
* 73% of Gen Z felt stressed or anxious following a natural disaster or environmental event
* 45% of Gen Z felt climate change negatively affected their daily life and functioning
