I’m Julia, user engagement specialist for Tom 2020. Here at HQ, I read all the replies to emails (like this one!) and manage our supporter groups online (and I make frequent runs to the post office to pick up all the mail we get from this wonderfully supportive team!).
I’ve worked with Tom for almost two years, and one thing that always gets him excited is hearing what’s on the mind of the American people. As he prepares for the debate on Tuesday, I’d love to share with him some well wishes from grassroots supporters like you. [link removed]

Tom, thank you so much for inspiring my political career for so long. My first internship at Virginia Tech was with NextGen America. And then, a year after college, I moved out from Virginia to San Francisco to take my first real job again with your organization.
I couldn’t have been more thrilled when you decided to run for president, and that I get to continue helping this country with you. This campaign has been so incredible from day one, and I’ve loved every moment, especially getting to speak to so many supporters from across the country that have the same values as me.
I know that you’re going to do amazing on the debate stage, and I can’t wait for the world to get to know you more. Break a leg!
