John — I won’t take up too much of your time.
I’m reaching out to ask you to donate today because we’re just a few days away from our very first (and arguably, most important) fundraising deadline of the year.
We’ve set a goal to raise as much as we can before midnight on Thursday, which means our job between now and then is to work hard to collect as many donations from folks like you as it takes to kick this election year off in a strong position to win.
The momentum we have seen over the past few months won’t amount to a hill of beans if we can’t grow and sustain it in the months ahead. That’s why I’m asking:
Will you add a donation of $10 or more before our first fundraising deadline of 2020 on Thursday? The more donations we can get in the door before this deadline expires, the stronger our campaign will be when it matters most on Election Day.
I’m not taking any donations from corporate PACs and I truly believe that’s one of the reasons the polls show us winning this election, sending Thom Tillis packing, and putting this North Carolina Senate seat back in the hands of the people.
We have one of the best chances of flipping a seat critical to a Democratic majority in November. But a lot can change between now and Election Day, so we have to do everything we can to build a winning campaign right from the start. Can I count on you?
Thanks in advance.
