Tomorrow the Democrat candidates who think they can defeat President Trump will take the stage in Iowa trying to convince the American people that socialism would be a good thing for the United States of America. They have a long list of “free” things they want to give away - from healthcare for illegal immigrants to a guaranteed income even for those that choose not to work.
Pundits have taken to calling it the “free-stuff primary.” Of course, the kicker is that we, the taxpayers, will end up footing the bill for all of this.
While this “free stuff” may sound good in campaign speeches, I am going to be straightforward and honest with you as your Congressman and as a friend: Socialism has NEVER worked throughout history and WILL NOT work in 2020 for our country!
It is crucial this election year that we put an end to the radical socialist agenda before it seeps its way into our country's framework or, worse, our constitution. As you know, I have always fought back against the radical socialist agenda, but I need your help.
