Dear friends,
In the winter of 2020, I wrote to this community:
“COVID-19 has exposed the cracks in our societies in a way that begs us to question how we treat one another and how we choose—or choose not—to recognize that our individual health is intimately connected to the health of others, in our neighborhoods, in our countries, and around the world.”
I said “expose” because those cracks had always existed, which is why access to medical care is so inequitably distributed around the world.
In the years since, the team I lead as the Chief Operating Officer of Partners In Health has spent every waking hour working to right this wrong, and we’ve made incredible progress together. But we have so much still to do.
I’m honored to have you as part of our team for the work ahead. It is truly necessary and urgent.
Today is the last day to have your year-end contribution TRIPLED. Please give before midnight tonight to help deliver dignified health care and save lives >>
