Dear John,
I want to make sure you saw this email. We’re running out of time to reach our year-end goal. Please, if you can, donate before midnight to help support our work, and your donation will be matched by a generous donor excited about our plans for 2023.

So let me get this straight.
Congress just passed
$858 billion for one year of military spending.
But at the same time, they say they can’t afford
$12 billion to fund the expanded Child Tax Credit, which would single-handedly lift 4 million children out of poverty.
Please. You’ve got to be kidding me.
Here at Inequality Media, a key part of our mission is to shine a spotlight on statistics like these—stats the corporate media ignores—to debunk the notion that we can’t afford to keep working people afloat.
Now is an ideal time to donate to Inequality Media, because one of our most generous donors has just pledged to match all year-end donations to help us meet our goal of raising $100,000 before 2022 comes to an end.
So please, if you can, become an Inequality Media donor today. All donations will be matched 100%.
For years, the corporate media have echoed the Republicans’ “we can’t afford it” BS when it comes to social programs. And in 2023, we’ll be facing a MAGA-Republican-led House of Representatives hellbent on gutting Medicare, Social Security, and virtually every other program that helps working people.
So it’s up to us to get the truth to the American people: Poverty is a policy choice. It’s about priorities. And for a fraction of what we spend on the military, we could reduce childhood poverty by half or more.
We’re using our huge social media following to communicate directly with the public through viral videos and explainers—and counter the disinformation pouring out of the corporate media.
But we can’t do any of this without donations from supporters like you. We’ve set a goal of raising $100,000 by the end of 2023, and thanks to a generous matching grant, every dollar you donate as part of our year-end campaign will be matched 100%.
Will you make a donation and help Inequality Media meet our year-end fundraising goal?
Thank you for anything you can chip in to help us continue this work.
