When you give to Start Early, you are helping our programs like Healthy Parents & Babies pair expecting mothers, like Tamera, with doulas who provide coaching during pregnancy, birth and the first few weeks of life.
Tamera joined our Healthy Parents & Babies program when she was 8 months pregnant. She was referred through the hospital and was assigned a doula within the same week. Before joining our program, Tamera had concerns about having a new baby and like any first-time parent, she was afraid of making mistakes.
