Problem Solvers? Democrats worked so hard to win the House majority in 2018 and the right to negotiate with Senate Republicans on legislation. How very disappointing Rep. Ami Bera's "Problem Solvers Caucus" threw this away by backing the Senate Republican's Border Emergency Aid Package, which is weaker on protecting the caged children on the border than the proposed House version. I don't agree with the resultant name calling in this recent Politico article (link below), but Sacramento voters deserve a far more effective counterweight to Mitch McConnell and President Trump's policies than Ami Bera and the quick-to-capitulate caucus he leads.

Seeking House Party Hosts! What makes Jeff different than his opponents? He ONLY wants to represent his constituents. Jeff has pledged to accept donations solely from the voters in his district. No PACs, wealthy donors, special/outside interests making "investments" through campaign donations that they'll seek to cash in later. We're up against millions in special-interest and outside-the-district donations. In fact, 80% of Rep. Ami Bera’s nearly $20 million in career donations come from these “outsider” insiders. It’s a cold way to campaign. While Bera meets with his big outside donors, he asks voters to email him through his Web site. Bera wants to talk to you in your living room through paid ads; we want to meet voters face-to-face at house parties in their living rooms. Real contact, real dialogue, real representation. But we need your help. To multiply our numbers, we need all our supporters to host a house party with Jeff. If you are willing, please contact us at [email protected].
