Dear John,

As 2022 comes to an end, I’m reflecting on what this year has meant for the ARC community. I am pleased that we were able to reinstate constant prison visits and resume trips inside. I am proud of our Hope and Redemption Team (HART) and all the expansion we have made. It is meaningful that ARC was able to expand its presence to every prison inside the state of California.

In my reflection, I am grateful for all of you who stand by our side in this fight for justice. It is not an easy one, but we could not do this work without you. Thank you for your belief in us, our work, and second chances. I am eager to continue changing hearts and minds across the nation – this is just the beginning! ([link removed])

Thank you for being a friend and ally of ARC. I am excited to share with you what we have accomplished together in 2022 ahead of our tenth anniversary in 2023 and I am looking forward to what's to come. I encourage you to consider making a gift ([link removed]) before the new year in honor of all our hard work and to set us up for continued success in the coming year. Our Members and I appreciate you thinking about this and are filled with gratitude every time we see a gift come in.

Your past support of our work in 2022 allowed us to:
* Begin credible messenger mentoring in Central Juvenile Hall and Campus Kilpatrick, which has been life-changing for our youth inside.
* Provides 220 ride homes to people being released from prison, ensuring that they are greeted with someone who is formerly incarcerated and have walked in their shoes. 41 ARC Members provided rides and we had over 80,000 miles traveled across the state of California with and 3,227 collective years spent from our participants.
* ARC’s Hope And Redemption Team graduated 2,856 incarcerated people in California state prisons.
* 62 Members were placed in full-time stable careers and 10 Members were placed in internships, four of which turned into full-time employment.
* From January 2022 to October 2022 ARC provided over $25,000 in emergency relief funding to ARC Members and over $30,000 in loans and gifts.

Thank you once again for believing in this work and for standing beside us throughout this year and for making a difference in the lives of so many people. We appreciate you considering making a gift ([link removed]) to support our work. With your generosity know we will be able to keep building a justice system that is more equitable, healing, and humane.

Sincerely,
Sam Lewis
