There's so much at stake. Pramila is still fighting for the legislation because working people are counting on Congress to deliver — from student debt cancellation to an assault weapons ban, to the Child Tax Credit. She's continued her fierce advocacy for Democrats in the Senate to immediately end the filibuster and protect abortion rights, expand health care, and more. And she's never shied away from opposing excessive, bloated military spending that takes even more money away from our communities.
As we turn to 2023 and a Republican-controlled House, we need to continue to strengthen our progressive coalition in Congress — plans that require us to make necessary, early investments right now to see them through. But that means we can't afford to lose our momentum in fundraising — and we need to meet every fundraising goal from here on out, especially the last fundraising goal of the year.
