John,

Cancer touches more families than it spares. It leaves us broken, and for too many, bankrupt.

I lost my father to cancer 17 years ago. And it seems that every day I learn of a new diagnosis, a new battle for a friend, a family member or a colleague.

We have to ask why the increasing illness? We have to act.

Last week, the House passed the PFAS Action Act to help protect us from cancer-linked PFA chemicals in our drinking water.

Yet, Rep. David Schweikert, of Arizona's 6th district, voted NO on the bill.

He said no to our health. It was another 'profit first' vote from a representative who is under investigation for misspending of taxpayer dollars and who is nearly fully funded by special interests and corporate PACs.

I don't take donations from corporate PACs or big outside donors with special interests. I stand with our families.

Will you stand with us? Support our grassroots movement to bring common sense legislation for the people back. Chip in $10 or more today.

Where there is harm, I will always act with urgency, be armed with data and support people first.

In Solidarity,
Anita Malik
