I wanted to quickly follow up on Maddy’s email from yesterday. As the
Executive Director of the Montana Democratic Party, I’m extremely proud of all
that we’ve accomplished together over the past year.

But now it’s time to look to next year and beyond. We will have many
critically important fights ahead, and I want to make sure we’re setting
ourselves up to successfully take those fights on. Throughout the 2023
Legislative Session, the Montana Democratic Party will be busy supporting our
Legislators, holding the Republicans accountable, and providing Democrats
across the state the tools they need to get involved.

So before you ring in the New Year, I’d like to ask you to make one more
donation for 2022. Any amount you’re able to give will make a difference for us.

What a year it’s been, John.

As a state and as a country, we went through some truly hard times from
devastating mass shootings to the overturning ofRoe v. Wade and the right to
choose. But we also saw many victories and things to be proud of like the
passage of the Respect for Marriage Act and securing a 51-seat majority in the
Senate.

There will be many good and bad times ahead of us, but the good news is we
have a chance to impact how our challenges play out here in Montana. We’ve got
some of the most dedicated supporters in the entire country. People like you,
John, who never gave up in fighting for what was right.

Now we’ve got a chance to fight some more during our state legislative session
in 2023 and during the nationwide elections in 2024.

So in order to prepare for the challenges ahead, we’re asking everyone reading
this email to pitch in just $5 before we close the books on 2022 to ensure the
Montana Democratic Party can hit the ground running.
