Record-breaking rains, floods, and landslides. Dengue and malaria outbreaks. Extreme heat and drought. In 2022, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) responded to climate change-induced disasters, and right now, our teams continue to provide vital support for those experiencing the brunt of the current climate crisis.
We can’t wait any longer to respond to this threat—not when people’s lives are on the line. That’s why MSF is supporting climate-resilient infrastructure, such as solar-powered hospitals in Sierra Leone and Democratic Republic of Congo, and piloting new health programs to combat malaria outbreaks in South Sudan.
There’s no time to lose when it comes to treating widespread malnutrition, providing aid in the wake of extreme natural disasters, and responding to other symptoms of the climate crisis that put vulnerable communities at even greater risk.
Thank you for being a part of building a brighter future with emergency support that goes beyond borders.
P.S. If your year-end gift and our email have crossed paths, we apologize and sincerely thank you for your generosity!
--- All gifts given, up to $1,000,000, will be doubled through 11:59 p.m. EST on December 31. Every dollar you give will be matched with $1. Gifts received after the match has been met will not be matched but will be used where needed most.
