In the last hours of 2022, what difference can you make?

It's Not Too Late to Build a Better World in 2023

Dear John,

Over the last month, we know that your inbox has probably been swamped with requests from other organizations that, like Migrant Clinicians Network, hope to use gifts given today to help create a better world tomorrow. We also know that benefactors can come in all shapes and sizes, and that a small gift is, by no means, insignificant.

So, we want to try a different approach this year, and ask: can you give a little to help us sustain a lot?

Good—because it is not too late to make an impact and create a better 2023.

Our goal this year is asking each donor to make a $35 investment towards those programs which maintain the vital, lifesaving work at the border with migrant populations, as well as the clinicians who care for them. While a single investment of that magnitude cannot accomplish much on its own, it can be part of the foundation that allows our organization to continue funneling essential healthcare services to undocumented migrants; young mothers; and other vulnerable populations.

For almost 40 years now, MCN has been on the frontlines in the fight for health justice. Every year, we are reminded of both the necessity of our work, and the reality that is made possible only by the exceptional generosity of our donors. While it may be easy to believe that a single donation cannot possibly be effective, our experience has lead us to the opposite conclusion: we know how difficult it is to make room for charity in times of such widespread disparity, and deeply appreciate any gift entrusted to us for the purposes of establishing equity.

This holiday season, we would be honored if you considered making even just a one-time gift in helping us build the bridges we need to continue in the years ahead. Many nonprofits receive the bulk of their donations in the days closing out the year, and it is not too late to let your contribution to MCN to be among them.
